Delete Your Account and Data
Summary
SaleStash does not have its own accounts. The only sign-in is the optional cloud sync, which uses your Google account. The developer does not receive or store your account details or your data, so you can delete everything yourself using the steps below.
Delete your cloud sync data and sign-in
- In the app, open Settings and turn off cloud sync. This stops syncing on that device and forgets the sign-in.
- In Google Drive on the web, go to Settings, then Manage apps, find SaleStash, and choose Delete hidden app data. This deletes the sync file from your Drive.
- In your Google Account, go to Security, then Third-party access, find SaleStash, and remove its access.
Delete the data on your device
- Uninstall the app, or choose Clear data in Android's app settings. This deletes your watchlist, price history and settings, including any saved SteamID64.
- To forget your SteamID64 without removing the app, clear the field in the app's Settings.
What is deleted and what is kept
- Deleted by the steps above: the cloud sync file in your Google Drive (watchlist, alert prices and removed-games list), the Google sign-in saved on your device, and all data stored in the app on your device.
- Kept by the developer: nothing. The developer does not receive your data, so there is nothing to retain and no retention period.
- Outside the developer's control: a backup file you saved yourself stays where you saved it until you delete it. If Android device backup is on, Google may hold a copy of the app's data in your Google Account, which you can remove in your Android and Google settings. Ad-related data is handled by Google AdMob under Google's policies.
